Hydro-Jetting Service in Houston | Scour Pipes Clean

| Scour Pipes Clean Licensed Master Plumbers (MPL-38162). Don't just poke a hole in the clog—remove it completely with high-pressure water.

We Bring the Supply House to Your Driveway.

If you are scheduling a drain cleaning every six months, your pipes aren’t getting fixed—they are just getting managed. Traditional “snaking” is often like poking a hole through a blockage; it restores flow temporarily, but leaves the sludge, roots, and grease on the pipe walls to grow back.

At Blackmon Plumbing, we offer the permanent solution: Hydro-Jetting. We dispatch specialized Trailer-Mounted Jetters that use high-velocity water streams to scrub your sewer lines down to the original pipe material.

Whether it is aggressive tree roots in The Woodlands or stubborn kitchen grease in Baytown, we wash it all away in one trip.

Highlands Plumbing

(Note: For severe grease buildup or heavy root impaction, we dispatch our dedicated Trailer-Mounted Hydro-Jetter. This industrial unit delivers 4,000 PSI at 18 GPM to scour lines completely clean.)

What We Carry on the Truck (The Mobile Power Plant)

Standard electric jetters (sold at hardware stores) lack the power to cut roots. We bring the heavy artillery.

  • Trailer-Mounted Unit: Our industrial machines deliver 4,000 PSI at 18 Gallons Per Minute (GPM).
  • The Science: High pressure (PSI) acts like a knife to cut debris. High volume (GPM) acts like a river to flush that debris out to the city main. You need both.

Specialized Nozzles: We change the “ammunition” based on your problem:

  • The Warthog/Spinner: Rotates at high speed to scour grease and soap scum from 360 degrees of the pipe wall.
  • The Root Cutter: A sharp, front-facing saw head that shreds root masses.
  • The Penetrator: A chisel-point nozzle designed to punch through solid ice or sand blockages.

Camera Verification: We never jet blindly. We carry self-leveling cameras to inspect the line before and after the work.

The Blackmon Process: Scrubbing, Not Just Unclogging

We hold Master Plumber License MPL-38162. We follow a strict safety protocol to ensure your pipes are cleaned without damage.

Safety & Foundation Protection

Sewer repair involves the structural integrity of your home. We take that seriously.

  • Permitting & Inspections: We handle all permitting with the City of Houston Permitting Center (or your local municipality). A city inspector will physically view our work before we cover it up.
  • Foundation Warranty Protection: Many foundation repair companies require a “Hydro-Static Test” passed by a Master Plumber to honor their warranty. Our repairs and post-repair testing provide the certification you need to keep your warranty valid.
  • IPC Compliance: We adhere to the International Plumbing Code (IPC) regarding slope, bedding, and venting.

OSHA Compliant Shoring: Tunneling requires strict adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. We use proper shoring boards to prevent cave-ins and our crews are trained in Confined Space Entry. You can rest easy knowing the crew under your home is working safely and legally.

Snaking vs. Hydro-Jetting: What Do You Need?

Not every clog needs a jetter. We help you choose the right tool.

Cable Machine (Snake)

Best for: Retrieval (Wipes/Toys) or minor clogs.

Action: Pokes a hole to restore flow.

Root Removal: Cuts some roots; leaves “stumps.”

Longevity: Clog often returns in 6 months.

Hydro-Jetter

Best for: Maintenance (Grease/Roots) & Restoration.

Action: Scours walls 360° to original diameter.

Root Removal: Shears roots flush with the pipe wall.

Longevity: Solves the issue for years.

The Warranty Difference

Because snaking only pokes a hole, it typically comes with a short-term spot warranty. Because Hydro-Jetting restores the pipe to a “like-new” condition, we stand behind it with a significantly longer Flow Guarantee.

Common Questions About Hydro-Jetting

Q: Will Hydro-Jetting break my old pipes?

A: It depends on the pipe condition. That is why we always camera inspect first. If your Cast Iron is too thin or brittle, we will not jet it. We prioritize the safety of your home above the sale.

Q: Can you jet from the roof vent?

A: We prefer to jet from a ground-level “cleanout” access point. If your home does not have cleanouts, we can install them. Jetting from the roof is risky and often ineffective.

Q: Does this work on kitchen sinks?

A: Yes! We have smaller “Mini-Jetters” specifically for 2-inch kitchen lines to remove decades of black sludge and grease buildup.
