I had a wonderful experience with Blackmon Plumbing. I started using Blackmon Plumbing after I learned of the owner, Shane, helped fix an elderly gentleman's plumbing problems for free. I wanted to support this company who does kind acts for people.
I recently had a toilet replaced and another toilet repaired at the same time.
A gentleman, whose name is Dylan, arrived right on time. He was very polite, professional, knowledgeable and a hard worker! We have a two-story house and he was working by himself that day. He had to haul an old toilet down the stairs and a new one up the stairs, which was no small feat! He never took a break or stopped working from the minute he arrived.
I give 5 Stars to Dylan and Blackmon's Plumbing!

We had a gas leak we needed found and fixed. They were able to fix it quickly with no hassle. Prices were fair! Would definitely do more business with them again if we have other plumbing issues in the future.
I had my kitchen faucet replacement last week and am very satisfied with Blackmon’s services. They only charged me one hour labor at a very reasonable price compared with other plumbing companies that tried to charge me $195-$295 (Gxxxx Slam, MxP, Chxxxx) for just replacement. The technician was very friendly, unfortunately I don’t have his name. I highly recommend them and will use them if needed. Of course, hope they can keep this good business philosophy and culture.
This company is fantastic… Shane and Laurie are very professional and a pleasure to do business with. I rented their restroom trailer from their company Blackmon Bougie™️ for my wedding and it was clean, smelled nice and worked PERFECT for my event. I would highly recommend this to everyone in need of restrooms… ditch the portacans lol

Fast install and good price, but don't appreciate them leaving trash/old fittings in the attic like we wouldn't notice...sloppy craftsmanship.
The folks at Blackmon have a customer first attitude. They do what they say and say what they do. Michael came by after the job was completed to double check that all is well. 5 plus stars are earned and their business deserves to be the first you call. The mark of a superior company is...what do they do if something goes wrong ? Well I'll tell you what they did after one of their installers slipped off the tiny attic platform and punched a hole with his leg poking through the drywall ceiling ! Fortunately the unlucky fellow was not injured. Upon Michael notifying the shop Mr. Blackmon sent out a drywall installer and painter and the very next day the hole was patched with new drywall and texturing. Their painter upon seeing the color of the paint I intended to use, went over to S-W with a piece of the ceiling and returned providing the correct color selection.
I know quality workmanship being a retired electrical fabricator of 46 years experience. In addition they repainted not just the patched area but they went beyond and blended the entire section of the ceiling (330 sq ft) to match ! That is incredible example of forward thinking on Shane's professionalism. NOT SORRY, for the wordy reference, Blackmon is worth it !

Wow!! I don't usually leave reviews, but what a great overall experience from Blackmon Plumbing! My faucet had a leak requiring replacement. They did such a great job installing my gorgeous new sink! I loved the customer service I got on the phone as well as in person. They arrived on time, and that's unusual for most other home services I schedule appointments for. So impressed with Juan Salinas and all his hard work today! I will definitely stick with this plumbing company for any plumbing problems. Thanks again!

About Galveston Island
Galveston Island ( GAL-vis-tən) is a barrier island on the Texas Gulf Coast in the United States, about 50 miles (80.5 km) southeast of Houston. The entire island, with the exception of Jamaica Beach, is within the city limits of the City of Galveston in Galveston County. The island is about 27 miles (43.5 km) long and no more than 3 miles (4.8 km) wide at its widest point. The island is oriented generally northeast-southwest, with the Gulf of Mexico on the east and south, West Bay on the west, and Galveston Bay on the north. The island's main access point from the mainland is Interstate Highway 45 which crosses the Galveston Causeway that crosses West Bay on the northeast side of the island.
